Privacy at a glance
This site exists to help you check whether a popular AI tool is having trouble. We try to collect as little personal information as possible, and we never ask you to create an account or log in. This page explains, in plain language, what we record, why we record it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We use a lightweight analytics script to understand things like how many people visited a page and where visits come from. For each page view it sends the page address and title, the referring site’s hostname (not the full address), a coarse device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), a browser and operating system family, and the visit duration. The visitor identifier is a random value that exists only in your browser’s memory for that page view: the script sets no cookies, writes nothing to your device, and does no fingerprinting (it never reads your screen size, language, fonts or hardware details). It also respects your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals: when either is on, nothing is sent at all.
When you submit an outage report (for example, telling us that Claude or ChatGPT is failing for you), we want to count genuine reports without tracking you. To do that, we store only a one-way salted hash derived from your network connection. That hash rotates daily, so it cannot be used to follow you over time. We do not store raw IP addresses, names, email addresses, or any other identity. Alongside the hash we keep a coarse country guessed from the network, so we can show where an issue is concentrated.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a site can place in your browser. Our own analytics does not set cookies; our advertising and infrastructure providers (listed below) may. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, though some features may work less smoothly afterward.
Third-party services
- Analytics is processed for us by GSC Terminal (thinkly.business), which receives the fields listed under “What we collect” and turns them into aggregate traffic statistics for this site. Like any web request, the analytics request technically reveals your IP address to that endpoint in transit; the fields we store and report on are only the aggregate ones listed above. To opt out, switch on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use any content blocker.
- Google AdSense shows ads on this site. Google and its partners may use cookies, including third-party advertising cookies, to serve and personalise ads and to measure their performance.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, which involves processing technical request data to keep things secure and reliable.

Data retention
Aggregated analytics and outage-report signals are kept only as long as they are useful for showing recent status and trends, then they are deleted or further aggregated. Because report hashes rotate daily, they lose any link to a session quickly.
